Covid-19 information for participants
New date confirmed
With the safety and well-being of all participants at the forefront of our decision-making, the The Festival of Place and The Pineapples will now take place on 13 November, 2020 at Tobacco Dock, East London.
All bookings for the original date of 7 July will automatically be transferred to the new date and confirmed by email.
We’ll continue to follow the advice given to us by Public Health England and the World Health Organisation, and keep communicating with you as the situation around covid-19 evolves.
We’ll be taking full advantage of our unique semi-outdoor venue to bring people together safely to discuss how to make places worth living in – a challenge never more important than now. From space standards to social infrastructure, climate change to democracy, our expert speakers will unpick the future of how we live and develop our human habitats.
Our event has always challenged the status quo, and in this, November will be no different to July, although the vibe will be more winter market than summer fete!
Should you have any questions, please get in touch with James Macleod - firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you in November!
Executive director, finance - Silva Homes
"Excellent format, combining bite-size insights into a number of key topics from a wide range of speakers. Apps for Q&A and in-conference polling were used effectively by the chair."
"The Social Housing Finance Conference provided a fantastic learning opportunity on how the leading social housing associations are financing themselves and how this impacts their organisation."
Executive management team - Local Space
"This is one of the best value for money conferences I have attended with every session providing a useful insight at the very least and some being unmissable."
"All Chief Executives and Directors of Housing Associations should attend this Conference!"
Finance director - Arhag Housing Association
"As a newbie to the Housing Sector, having moved over from the charity sector - one appreciates that finance is finance, but the conference presented probing questions to answer or walk away and consider. Personally, I learnt a lot and had a good day to soak up SH Finance issues and knowledge. Well worth attending!"
