What is the cost of mechanised statistical reasoning in terms of innovation and crisis response? What can we learn from people who are outliers in our data sets? What are the risks and opportunities of AI for people who have been marginalised and are statistically insignificant?
When AI gets it wrong in a real-life environment, the results can be devastating – especially for people who are outliers in a data set, including people who experience marginalization or disability and others deemed statistically insignificant. We need to design our cities not for the most able among us, but for everyone.
Dr Jutta Treviranus will be speaking about the value of the statistically insignificant in an AI era.
Align and support a community of property professionals driven to make a positive social and environmental impact through their work and create places where people thrive.
