Win recognition The Pineapples awards for place are unique in seeking to celebrate mixed-use developments of scale incorporating public realm in the UK
Why Pineapples? The fruit is a common symbol of welcome in UK architecture, which is what we think great places should be: welcoming. And who doesn’t want to win a golden pineapple?
Judges visits All finalists will be visited by a panel of expert judges who will be considering how the development contributes to urban life and the user experience of the place (with the exception of Future Place). From public realm that brings people together, to street furniture that encourages visitors to dwell, to play equipment that draws in families, to retail experiences that make shopping special again

The conference audience is drawn from local government, developers, investors, consultants and peers
